The plate snugly integrates into the Canon anti-twist ridges and mounts with a single ¼”-20 bolt. The Canon Mic mount can also be directly connected to the right side of the Top Plate. Core Cage Composed of the Top Plate, Corner Connector, Left Side Rail, and Baseplate. This cage is insanely light and just over 8 oz yet built to withstand the rigors of set life. The Cold Shoe Rod Mount adds an additional layer of rigidity by tying into the camera’s cold shoe and 2x mounts into the back of the Top Plate. As the name suggests, the Cold Shoe Rod Mount includes 15mm 1” rods 60mm apart. This provides the perfect platform for mounting a KONDOR BLUE Pro Battery Plate off of the rods. The battery plate is ideally positioned above the native Canon battery slot so you can use redundant power for zero down moments on production.
