With the LUMIX S5IIX, recording and playback is supported using an external SSD via USB. In addition, the ability to record ProRes 422 HQ (max. 1.9Gbps) and 4:2:2 10-bit All-Intra directly to SSDs, which combine portability and high capacity has improved efficiency in data backup and post-processing.

Seamless Workflow
Adobe Camera to Cloud enables recorded content to be directly uploaded to the Frame.io platform from the camera through Wi-Fi or USB tethering, for seamless sharing of captured photos (JPEG/RAW) and Proxy videos, enabling remote checking and joint editing using non-linear editing software.

LUMIX S5IIX delivers AFC burst shooting using the electronic shutter at 30 frames per second with 24.2mp resolution. The sensor's higher readout speed also minimizes rolling shutter distortion and captures images too fast for the naked eye to process.
Heat Management for Unlimited Recording Time
An optimized heat dissipation structure enables extended recording even when shooting in high resolution. 4:2:2 10-bit C4K/4K 60p/50p unlimited recording time from 0°-104°F.
