Use the alignment lugs to determine the orientation.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eVerify that the caps have seals in them and that they fit correctly on the lid. Make sure rack and baffles are correctly installed.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eYou probably need to do the next steps in complete darkness.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eHolding the film holder in one hand, carefully slide a sheet of film into place, emulsion side up.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eRepeat for the other side.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eSlide the film holder into the tank. Be careful to get it in the corresponding slots.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eLoad the other film holder and slide it into the tank.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eUse the locator nubs to align the lid with the tank.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003ePress the lid into place.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cem\u003eNote: one port is marked Fill\/Drain and the other is marked Vent. \u003cbr\u003eAlways fill and empty the tank using the Fill\/Drain port.\u003c\/em\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ol\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eFilling the tank:\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003col\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eRemove both caps.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eQuickly fill the tank (via the Fill\/ Drain Port.)\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eStart your timer. (It is important to be consistent.)\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eTap the tank firmly on the bench to dislodge any air bubbles\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eInstall the vent cap.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eWhile gently squeezing the tank, (you can see the liquid level in Fill\/ Drain outlet rise a bit), install the Fill\/ Drain cap.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eStart agitation by inverting the tank, holding it inverted for 1 second, then turning it right side up for 1 second.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ol\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eAgitation: \u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eEveryone one has their own technique, so you'll want to experiment.
